Unfortunately for you, none of those speakers have been measured in detail (CTA-2034). So, you would need to listen to them yourself to make your choice. (Of course that’s always the case. But detailed measurements could provide you some assumptions about their behavior in your room and suitability

Hey there! I just set up a new system for pretty much this exact purpose. Here's what I did: I bought the WiiM Ultra as the main "hub" of my system. My record player plugs into the Ultra. Since I already have an external pre-amp, I used the Line-In input, but the Ultra does have a "Phono" input jack

I was personally pretty impressed with the REN, though Kanto doesn't specify they are a "bookshelf" speaker, rather a soundbar replacement. I found them to have a really wide soundstage along with fulfilling treble and good detail, they really immersed me and carried a warm sound profile. I think as

Those Kefs look awesome. I wish I would have gotten them instead of the Kanto Rens. I do like the Ren though.

Q1 Meta is on sale right now for 400usd/pair (normally 700usd/pair). These are amazing. If you need even cheaper, look into

As I recommend for every single person asking this type of question until somebody buys them... Vanatoo transparent encore Plus or Kanto Ren powered speakers. When you can put a really good streamer better than a wiim or a blue sound in front of them they scale quite well

Some TV's have a setting for the TOSLINK output that allows you to choose whether it's always at 100% volume or if the TV volume control works. If you can get that working, then at least you can use your TV's remote. If you can't figure out a solution, then no matter what you get, be sure it support

Does that budget include DACs, Amps, an interface, etc? Or just the Speakers? For just speakers, Kali Audio IN-8 V2. Front ported and should play down to around 50 Hz. Can save for a subwoofer later. Otherwise maybe Kali Audio LP-6 V2 with a Topping DX5 II as your DAC / Pre-amp. Also has a solid hea
