Gonna say this again. Kanto ren or vanatoo transparent encore plus and be done thinking about things until you are willing to spend some decent money. These are some of the best bang for buck speakers for the money and punch above their weight. One day someone will listen to me 😂

As I recommend for every single person asking this type of question until somebody buys them... Vanatoo transparent encore Plus or Kanto Ren powered speakers. When you can put a really good streamer better than a wiim or a blue sound in front of them they scale quite well

Some TV's have a setting for the TOSLINK output that allows you to choose whether it's always at 100% volume or if the TV volume control works.
