Why are LSX II $1500 on their site and only $500 at my local Costco?
Oh that sounds nice. Great setup man! I’m good with less input options and colors. I have a lower tier setup. Just picked up a Kanto sub8 as my first sub $250 and I’m looking to spend $350-500 for speakers. Considering the KEF LSX II Lt obviously, Kanto ORA4 and whatever else I can see. Absolutely n

Quality Desktop Gaming / Movie speakers.
i mean for the cost and price point it really does deliver, it could be better as could almost any speaker out there as nothing is perfect but the pros far outweigh the very few cons it has. 2 of the biggest cons for this speaker are the lack of bluetooth but i was okay with it as its plugged into m

Current setup. Moving soon. Anything I should add when I move?
Yes, the Kanto Ora4 is on sale now for 20% here in Canada. Not sure about elsewhere tho. Sounds amazing for the size & price. There’s usb-c and Bluetooth connections.

I really appreciate your help. I ended up getting Kanto Ora4s and the sub8 after watching a few videos from Jasper Tech. I just wasn’t interested in getting an external DAC and Amp and Inactive speakers. Apparently the original Kanto Ora’s are top for their size. They also have an independent sub ou

Bookshelf speakers
If it's for a battle station, then you're sitting in one place, so there's no need for 5.1. Surround sound was invented to compensate for different listening positions in movie theaters and couches. You can make all the same sounds with 2 well-aimed speakers for your 2 ears. If you're willing to go

Recommend me speakers with good bass without subwoofer
You're kind of trying to violate the laws of physics, which obviously isn't possible. You say you want good bass without a subwoofer (absolutely possible), but also want small speakers. You've got to give one of those up. Do keep in-mind that the performance of a set of speakers is extremely depende

Looking for bookshelf speakers
Get a pair of Kanto ORA They have multiple inputs. So, one PC goes to the DAC, then out to the analog input of the speakers. The other PC goes from USB to the speakers.

r/AudioEngineering Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk
Hi everyone, Recently, I bought Kanto Ora to upgrade my god awful laptop speakers, and I do really like the sound of this little thing. But maybe I was too trigger happy with shopping and didn't do enough research; I need to use my earphones (w/ a built in mic), yet the speakers don't have a 3.5mm j

What do you think of WiiM hardware music streamers?
Question about the wiim mini or wiim pro. So I have a set of KEF LS II LT speakers and a set of Kanto Ora 4 speakers connected to my pc and I’m trying to decide which I’ll be keeping. Surprisingly the Kanto’s sound better to me but they’re missing air playability. If I get a wiim pro for instance an

I recommend PC speakers
Doubtful. Cheapest speakers I know of that would sound decent and fit your requirements of an optical would be from Kanto. Look at the YU4 or YU6. The ORA gets good reviews for a little less, but have usb in and not optical. YU 4 cost a bit under $500 and can be found on sale for about $360-400 in c
