Honestly, with a $300-400 budget, I think you would be better off with either switching to a subwoofer that's easier to integrated with the Kali LP UNF. Looking for some stereo system replacement advices.
Edifier powered speakers but one with sub output e.g. Edifier r1280DBS or Kanto ORA4. Cast from phone, tablet Pc etc. or get a Wiim mini. Unless you have a large collection of physical media. Then a Beosystem 3000 £700 on eBay. No idea of prices elsewhere other than cheaper in Germany and of course
