Look for desktop studio monitors. I use Kanto Ora4. P. S. Forget about the subwoofer. Small size (that you’re looking for) and quality don’t go together.

When would you even need that? Plugging in an aux cable? I need it at my computer desk with a sub-out port for my still-in-box Kanto sub8. I’m also considering the Kanto ORA4 which are a bit cheaper, but probably a lower tier product anyway. $350 vs $500.

Please note that powered speaker type active studio monitors, (i.e. speakers that have built-in volume knob on their front), often don’t have easy subwoofer outputs. (E.g.
