Advice on studio monitors for guitar and bass?

I have been using Kali Audio LP8 V1 for the last few years and they are great and come in under the budget. The V2 IN-8 would be an even bigger fuller sound. The front porting is great.

New Monitor Speakers

I really like my Kali Audio monitors. Very good value across their lines. For $900, you can get a new pair of IN-5, or for $1000, a pair of IN-8s, which are great three way speakers. You might try those and if you find the bass lacking, add a sub. Or for $600, you could do their LP-8.

New speaker/monitor advice for home studio

Kali Audio LP6 or LP8 V2 will probably give you the most sound quality at this budget.

Focal Alpha, Adam Audio...

That’s bit small budget if you want to fill out your whole room. Usually that budget active studio monitors are intended for desktop usage (i.e. about arm’s length away). Like e.g. Kali Audio LP-UNF (EAC review) (Thomann listing). JBL or Adam active studio monitors could be slightly bigger in your b

Looking for my first Monitors!

The Kali LP6 is an excellent choice, and you're right to go for the V2s. I have LP8 V1s, which I haven't felt the need to replace -- but they fixed a standing noise issue with the V2. Being your first monitors -- you're going to love them at first, and all will be well. But at some point you're like

best studio monitors

I've been using the Kali Audio LP-8 V2 for a while now and am quite content - nice price/performance ratio. Not as loud but a bit cleaner sounding than the KRK's i used. I think the best tip i can give is that once you get to understand your monitors and your room it really doesn't matter that much

Looking at getting a new guitar (coming back after 10+ years?)

Prioritized guitar + multieffects + headphone route due to set budget constraints. You don’t need an amp to play if you already have a modeler and headphones. If bedroom playing lang, I recommend investing in studio monitors particularly the Kali Audio LP6 or LP8 in the future. They are ideal for mi

The money drain

I really like the Presonus Eris Studio 8 + Presonus Eris Pro Sub 10 combo, some good value in that price range. Other than that, Kali Audio LP-6 v2 / LP-8 v2 or even better, Kali Audio IN-8 v2.

A track I made yesterday.

Thank you. I agree, there is still some work to do. By the way, I have a similar situation with old tracks :) I often work on projects in a continuous session (while the idea is fresh), after which the project is sent "to the desk drawer" to wait for further detailed development, and in the next ses
