Monitor speakers for dj'ing and mixing at home

I'll second this. I've been using Kali Audio LP-6 for a few years now and they're solid. Great clarity and plenty of power for in your house. Only thing I would suggest adding if you can is a subwoofer. They also make the LP-8 which is the 8" version if you want to step it up.

best studio monitors

I've been using the Kali Audio LP-8 V2 for a while now and am quite content - nice price/performance ratio. Not as loud but a bit cleaner sounding than the KRK's i used. I think the best tip i can give is that once you get to understand your monitors and your room it really doesn't matter that much

Speaker recommendation for bedroom and mini house party

Look into Kali Audio LP-6 or LP-8 monitors. Plenty of power and bass is punchy enough for a living room with 10 people in it. You can always add a sub to this setup in the future.

Desk listening, near field monitors? Kali LP-6? [Used, 300EUR, Germany]

The V1 Kali LP monitors had some issues. Most notably they supposedly had fairly high background hiss. (Fairly common issue with powered speakers. But fixed in the V2.) So, the new Kali Audio LP-6v2 (EAC review) (Thomann listing) are a rather excellent option at 416€ with new product warranty, etc..

New speakers or a subwoofer for improved bass and clarity.

That’s the Emotiva speakers. If you want more power, then you need to look at more expensive powered or active studio monitor speakers. E.g. these active studio monitors from Kali Audio: Kali Audio LP-6v2 (EAC review) Kali Audio LP-8v2 (EAC review) Also note that with active studio monitors (like ab

Home office stereo setup for music listening (£1k)

No to the microscopic kef speakers they're overpriced and have horrible low end, very early rolloff at 100hz. Kali audio mm6, or lp6 or lp8, or IN-8. Or jbl 308p / 306p, or Adam audio t7v. All so much better than the anemic kef. That is, if you care about bass and overall dynamics/ output capability

Speakers for mini party at home

Nah, it’s not a problem since we’re not talking about a full sized party. You can easily turn up monitor speakers to a reasonable volume, especially active ones which have a built in dsp with a limiter (you will blow your HiFi speakers way before you blow these). I owned KRK Rokit RP7 G4 and now Kal
