What is the best studio monitor money can buy for a small bedroom studio?

Kali Audio Lp6 is not the best money can buy but an incredible bang for your buck in quality of sound and versatility. They have a ton of configuration for fitting small and weird shaped rooms.

Recs for bookshelf active reference studio monitor?

I use a set of Kali Audio LP6 and love them. Good bass, nice and tight sound, has room correction options.

How do i get into making me own music

7 years into producing here :) See you got Ableton, great choice. I'm still surprised by how good that software is every now and again. Learn everything that's in there. You need to know every tool in your toolbox. Just look at the audio effects, throw each one on a few different sound sources. List

Monitor speaker size for a 10x10 room?

I wouldn't go over 6.5"... Check out Kali Audio LP-6 V2. Or the tried and true flat response of HS7s.

Can studio monitors still be enjoyable in an untreated room if mixing accuracy isn’t the primary goal? Looking for immersion and fun.

I like the M50’s personally, but the 770s are my second favorite. The bass response in the M50’s goes so low and smooth. The absolute best monitors you can get on a reasonably small budget are the Kali Audio Lp6 monitors. They have a myriad of room and space setting switches on the back of them to d

Looking for 5 inch monitors for minimal techno production

I would recommend the Kali Audio Lp6’s. Price point is there, they are better than most 5” options short of expensive ones like Adams or Focals. The back of the Lp6 has a TON of adjustability for room shape and sound/bass control. They have front firing bass ports and balance really nicely without h

What studio monitors to buy for small apartment?

I live in a condominium and use a pair of Kali Audio LP6 (uses 6.5" drivers) and they're fantastic. They have room correction settings on the back and are very detailed and handle transients excellently. I have the V1 which has a little self noise, but they can be found used fairly cheep. The V2 wil

How to proceed despite having bad Monitors?

I use Slate VSX (closed back) and AB Metric - IMO a great combination. For me a 1000 times better than an untreated room and monitors - even with the fairly decent Kali Audio LP-6s I was using, my mixes were way off due to my room. For me, mixes done on VSX do translate well to clubs If you aren't w

Speaker reccomendations

Ayy are you in for a treat upgrading from a guitar amp :D My recommendation is the Kali Audio LP6 V2. If you want to buy from EU, I also like the Focal Alpha Evo 65. Slightly more expensive though. There's bigger and smaller models but to me 6-7 inch is the sweet spot, some bass, not overbaring in u

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday

You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul
