Advice on studio monitors for guitar and bass?
I find Kali Audio LP-6 to be a good deal. They sound great, are built very well, front ported, have great adjustments on the back to fit your room and are geuinely not that expensive considering what they offer.

Seeking Stereo Setup for 28m² Living Room - Wall Placement
If I were to put your request in simpler terms, you need the following: A pair of front ported or sealed speakers (active or passive) (Optional but nice to have) EQ Streamer/DAC that is capable of Airplay Personally, I'd go for a Wiim Pro Plus and a pair of studio monitors like the Kali Audio LP-6,

Small room / desk against wall — which speakers/monitors should I buy?
kali lp6 are very well rated, i have lp8v1 and besides the hiss, they are great speakers, v2 fixed that problem Yamahas are also nice but sound a bit sharper, more clinical and can become a bit fatiguing after long listening sessions adam audio t5v / t7v i understand are also nice due to the ribbon

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday
You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul

Speaker system recommendations?
I'm gonna go against the Yamaha recommenders here and recommend the Kali Audio LP6V2. Or the LP8V2 if you want more bass.A bit cheaper for the woofer size than the Yamaha's, and having heard both in real life: the high end of the Yamaha is a bit scratchy and uncomfortable. While still interesting fo

New speaker/monitor advice for home studio
I currently use a FLX-10 with Kali Audio LP6 monitors and they sound amazing for inside the house. Plenty of sound and power. They offer plenty of bass, but you can always add a sub in the future. Studio monitors for small gatherings should be ok, but any larger and you may want to look into a PA sy

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday
For D&B, the suggestions listed here so far have 5 inch woofers or smaller. D&B heads love and need their bass, I wouldn't get him anything with a woofer smaller than 6.5 inch, as that's kind of the sweet spot for production in a non-treated or lightly acousticly treated room. It allows him to hear

Replacement for my Adam A5X?
Since there are no real recommendations so far...The ribbon tweeter of the A5X is something you either love or dislike. But I think the warmth you are missing is basically just 5 inch woofers not making enough bass and low mids to sound warm to your ears.Go for at least a 6,5 inch woofer. Since your

If high fidelity and clear detail are the priority (or in other words, accurate/flat frequency response and low distortion output) then I highly recommend the Kali Audio LP-6 v2 active studio monitors. For a more living room friendly alternative in size and looks, I can also recommend the Kanto REN.
