Delonghi Eletta Explore

I have the Elleta Explore after having Jura ENA8. You will be very happy! They definitely didn't have the grind settings correct.

Am I Crazy? Exchanging Jura ENA 8 for KitchenAid KF7

I have the Giga 10 but have some friends with the ENA 8. Theirs makes great drinks. While I believe the KF is going to be a step up over the Philips line, I don’t know that you’ve given the Jura a fair shake either. I’ve had a couple of them and it’s taken me more than 5 preparations to get it diale

What machine should I buy for our clinic?

5-10 drinks a day is not a commercial quality. We have an almost bottom of the line Jura ENA 8 and we make 8-10 drinks a day on it at my house!

Best machine on the market without milk capabilities?

I have the Jura ENA 8. We just don’t use the milk function. My wife likes lattes but we use our old Nespresso Aeroccino. It’s way easier to clean. It’s not an efficient use of money but we get the best combo of coffee and maintenance convenience this way.

Jura ENA 8 Touch or De'Longhi Magnifica Plus

I have the ENA 8 Touch (2019 model though) and my dad has the Magnifica Plus and often we have the same beans (Guatemala & Honduras blend) so we can compare machines pretty effectively. The "normal" coffee function tastes fairly similar to both of us. However, when I "force" the use of PEP on my Jur

KitchenAid KF8 Fully vs Jura ENA 8 please advise

Dosing is about strength. Not volume. You can do the same 30z size from either machine but the KF will do a stronger dose in that single shot if that’s what you want. I program my ENA to do two 8 GM shots for that volume total with one button press. That’s a single sized 16 gm shot. Either machine i

What’s one product you bought that turned you into a total snob — like, you can never go back to the cheap stuff?

Loved the Breville. What an upgrade. Recently went further and bought the Jura Ena 8. It takes coffee to the next level.

Z10, Gaggia Accademia, Eletta Explore

Had the Jura ENA8 before I got the Accademia. I love the Accademia, drinks are hotter, looks great on the counter and on the rare occasion I want to use the steam wand, I’ve got the option to do so.

KitchenAid KF7/KF8 long term owners? Maintenance?

Kf8 now almost a year. I think what it does best is have precision settings and can make any type of drink you want using the combo of steamed milk, warmed milk, espresso, and coffee (in addition to volume and strength control of each). Most other machines can’t be customized this granular. It’s bee
