Why are there so few Automatics with steam wands?
The milk frothing systems on automatics are usually trash compared to a good steam wand, you're right about that. Most manufacturers probably figure if you want a steam wand you'd just get a semi-auto anyway Check out the Jura E8 or maybe some of the higher end Saeco models - they're automatics but

Considering buying an Oracle Jet but is it for me? [$2000]
Another Barista Express here. We have that and are looking for a new machine. I am mostly black coffee and was leaning towards the Jura E8. The one touch aspect with no cleanup is quite appealing. But, my wife wasnt thrilled with the latte from it (and I want her to be just as happy with her drinks)
