EON One Compact

QSC CB10 I've been waiting to test one of them myself as well. I also own a JBL Eon one compact because I needed something before the Everse had come out and don't want to buy a Bose unit. The Everse's are night and day compared to the JBL of course. The one thing I was disappointed about on the QSC

JBL eon one compact is NOT LOUD. It's so quiet for a speaker of its size. It starts flashing red and limiting SO EASILY. The green lights are impossible to see outside in the sun. The controls are slow and take too much focus/ menu diving to simply eq an instrument. I cannot recommend it to anyone.

for small cafe gigs with an sm58, i'd look at compact pa systems like the bose s1 pro - it's portable and handles vocals really cleanly. another option is the jbl eon one compact which fits your budget better. both work as standalone systems with xlr inputs for your mic and have enough power for 400

What size was it though? If it was a set of 15s, with 18 inch subs then off course its too much. Thats why I put 8-12s there, as it is dependent on room size. What do you like about the S1? Personally I prefer the Everse series because of their output. Battery powered speakers. I've used a large amount of them through the years. In order to get a professional quality solution you are not going to come in under 1000. A reliable professional wireless system
