Should I ask for a refund on what I thought was a JBL bar 500?

Yes there is a big difference, not only in quality but also in the year that they came out, the Bar 500 is the newer model and the Bar 5.1 Surround (which is what's in your 2nd photo) is the older model - see full comparison here The Bar 5.1 Surround barley handles any audio codecs via HDMI ARC and/

Upgraded My Old Soundbar – Here Are My Honest Thoughts on the Samsung Q990F

Thanks for sharing! I'm considering the Q990F as an upgrade from my JBL 5.1 Surround. The sound is good with great bass, but dialogue has always been an issue and I have been wanting to experience Atmos for a while - I do wonder how much "Better" it will be...

I bought my Jbl 5.1 sound bar system for interstellar specifically years ago - best investment I’ve made - it’s not the imax experience but it’s how I treated myself

TV=>Soundbar=>Monitor Speakers

I'd like the Adam's to be the main L/R speakers, as they are my largest speakers right now, but honestly, it doesnt matter. If the speakers can just be connected in with the sound bar simultaneously, I'd be happy. So, main reason for wanting to keep the soundbar "alive" in my setup, is because it ha

Should I go with the JBL or the Samsung?

Okay. So I literally just purchased this exact same soundbar (JBL 5.1) from Best Buy for that price. I have only had it for a few days. But I can say this thing is nice. I upgraded from a 2.1 JBL soundbar and immediately noticed the increased clarity from the additional speakers. Also, I would say i

Sound bar to go with my LG C4

Just got JBL 5.1 from bestbuy for $270 for my C4. (Original price $599). They have this promo price for Bestbuy members which cost you nothing to become when buying this bar. Love the rumbling bass. The sub it comes with is 10” btw.
