The only caveat to that, in my opinion is if you have space issues. For example I spent $1,000 on a JBL 1300X Mark II soundbar, which has relatively flat rear speakers, and of course the front speakers are all built into the soundbar. My living room just doesn't have the space for large rear speaker

I just purchased the JBL Bar 1300x Mk2 and can't wait to dig in. It beat the latest Samsung flagship in a head to head!

I have the JBL 1300X MK2 in an open concept house with 10 ft ceilings. I got it black Friday and it is absolutely amazing. This system is ridiculous, the base shakes my house and I haven't gotten close to max volume. Movie nights are so much fun. The dialogue is crystal clear and I love the detachab

You must have not heard the JBL 1300x MK2 because after owning it for 2 months I'm convinced it's the best system on the market.

I got the same system at home! I upgrade from a Sony A7000 with the RS5 rear speakers and the SW5 subwoofer. The JBL 1300X MK2 is a vast improvement! Even at just turning it up to 12-15. It fills my bedroom with ease!

I have the JBL 1300x and it's awesome. But I have the bass set to mid, as it can be overwhelming watching regular TV. Top gun or transformers with Dolby Atmos is amazing. Just the other day my little one thought something was behind us but it was the rear speakers. Lol

Sold my Samsung Q990 and bought the JBL 1300x. Very happy. Bass is lacking with the Samsung and love not having rear speakers on stands.

Samsung will get louder at lower volumes. You won’t get the same bass on samsung that your used to on jbl You’ll get added clarity to the mix as Samsung soundprofile is tuned differently than JBL (preference). JBL sound profile is tuned lower (preference). Samsung is cheaper even when the 1300x is a
