Monitor Speakers for Synth rig - Adam T7v?

The T7vs are solid for that price range, used mine for about a year before upgrading and they handled synths really well. Just make sure your desk can handle the weight since they're pretty hefty for 7" monitors Only other thing I'd consider at that price is maybe some JBL 305P mkIIs if you can find

Jbl 305p Mkii is a cheap home option. Tone Master® FR-10 if you want more amp like.

Any experience with purchasing from Rockville audio

If you can I would get the 308P, it's so much better and probably doesn't cost that much more. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/jbl-308p-mkii-studio-monitor-review.17338/ https://noaudiophile.com/JBL_LSR308/ B-stock from JBL is only $181 each. https://www.jbl.com/pro-b-stoc

New to Wiim Ultra - Want to check if I understand setup correctly.

Your setup will work. But, ideally, I'd recommend you use the subwoofer output of the WiiM to connect directly to your subwoofer (instead of connecting the WiiM to the sub and then, the sub to the speakers) That way, you'll get the bass management features of the WiiM Ultra like volume, crossover fr

Sound speaker recommendation

if you need to just listen on your desktop, get a pair of jbl 305p mkii + a decent subwoofer and that'll be below the 1000 euro

Is there really a big difference between passive and active speakers?

Two JBL 305 powered studio monitors for PC gaming and listening to music on PC. Best setup I’ve ever had.

Speaker Upgrade

I found the jbl 305 poweredmonitors to be more fun than yamaha hs to use as portable party speakers. Got them for 175$ a pair used. Never heard krk rokit so can’t say, also I don’t dig the KRKs looks. However, in my home setup the jbls suck so i use my cambridge amp and ohm walsh speakers instead wh

Kali LP-6, Kali LP-8 or Adam D3V?

You can get what you want with minimum 5" drivers or with Adam d3v, iLoud Micro, Genelec 8010 paired with a subwoofer. Both solutions will receive a significant upgrade through a sw for room correction. Kali LP- 6, Adam T5V, JBL 305P or Yamaha HS5 are great monitors but they are made to perform at t

best studio monitors

I have two JBL 305P’s mounted at about 6” above my ear level, each about 20”off center and angled in at about 15deg and down at about 10deg angle down, basically aimed at my head while standing and a matching JBL 310 sub below the main shelf on my synth/drum machine/mobile multi-track studio cart, w
