Has anyone experienced a system that made them stop thinking about sound entirely?

since i bought my jbl 305 monitors i never ever looked any further (except for treating my room). it just sounds like pure bliss. the best way to actually improve the sound is to practice mindfulness and active listening. being at peace. that's what sounds good. if i'm mad or jumpy, music won't soun

I just found out I am an audiophile

Try JBL 305P MKII - they are around $ 250 a pair, very often they are on sale. And connect them to WiiM Pro Plus - this one is around $ 220 and can stream music in very high quality from your phone, your Spotify and so on and it has voice control through remote. If you don't like the looks of JBL you

focusrite speakers

That's a really lovely idea. Though I'm going to suggest you take a different route. New to Wiim Ultra - Want to check if I understand setup correctly.

But, ideally, I'd recommend you use the subwoofer output of the WiiM to connect directly to your subwoofer (instead of connecting the WiiM to the sub and then, the sub to the speakers) That way, you'll get the bass management features of the WiiM Ultra like volume, crossover fr

What's your preamplifier these days?

I've been using a Fiio K9 (non-pro) for the past two years. I have a pair of JBL Pro 305P MkII hooked up to it with XLR cables. I do all my listening at my desk, and everything sounds great to me.
