I only had this happen once with our older roomba. We got a 705 max and it does a great job of avoiding. One of the dogs crapped right near the base awhile back. The 705 ran the whole house and emptied several times without touching it.

I’ve said this in a previous 705 Max thread, but this might be the replacement for my S9. A roller mop with Roomba carpet performance is what I’ve been waiting for

I've had a good experience with the Roomba Max 705 since last year, cleaning the hair of my Golden retriever dog.

I’m having a problem with my 705 saying that the bag is full, even though there’s a new bag. I’ve tried the old bags, and the new cardboard bags, nothing solved the problem. After dealing with Roomba for a few times, they’ve sent me a new 705.

They say hi! They also had to investigate and experiment with the Roomba at great lengths. When we upgraded from the i7 to the 705, they noticed there was a significant jump in its "intelligence" which caused a renewed concern.

I have a 705 max, and I had the same thoughts. I have trust issues and I don't want a robot leaking water all over the place. I had a J9 and it was so terrible it wrecked my trust in these things. I bought the 705 max on sale and it is 5000x better. When it comes to a robot running around the house

Nice I didn’t know the new iRobot app had that. When my 705 combo comes in I’m definitely going to use the live activities feature. The legacy iRobot app dosnt have that

Both rotary mop pad Roombas (The 405 and 505) have the autowash dock. In fact, most mopvacs you purchase will, as it is a necessity to stop the mop pads from becoming too dirty too fast. Now, both have pad washing, only the 505 has heated pad drying, so when it finishes washing the mop pads it will

My 705 combo manages all sorts of small bits and dust. Bread crumbs from the slicing machine, dirt from my work boots, croissant crumbs and spilt potting compost are easy tasks on tiled floors. The carpeted areas are just general bits and fluff walked in from the dryer, it has no trouble with these.

The 705 bot itself is a huge improvement over the J series bots. But the self empty bin took a huge step back. Basically the issue is that the bin and the bag do not seal very well. I've had a J6 robot for years and the interior of the bin is spotless. I've used the 705 for a few months and every co
