Should I get a robot vacuum?

Our Roomba J7 is an idiot. Always gets stuck, can’t find ā€œhomeā€, runs over cat barf even though it’s supposed to avoid pet messes, eats toys and has to be saved. The mapping is god awful and doesn’t improve. OEM replacement parts are stupidly expensive. Biggest waste of money.
