My house gives my friend hives
For your current vacuum, put in earbuds and your fave music. As another commenter said, consider saving up for a robot vacuum. I have the Roomba i3+, which has the self-emptying dock (just swap out the bag in the dock when it gets full). I got it as a Xmas sent from my mom to help with my depression

What’s the best garage accessory you’ve ever purchased?
I really like the iRobot self emptying ones. Got multiple i3s. Straightforward to fix and maintain for car people like us and parts are cheap. Virtual walls to keep it from hazardous stuff are abundant on Amazon and knockoffs work as well as real ones. Don’t ever buy the iHome stuff. Worked for a mo

How do you clean your floor everyday?
I have a Roomba i3+ and I like it. But I can't make any comparisons because this is the only one I've ever had. My only suggestion is to definitely get the clean base that automatically sucks the dirt from the roomba to a bag in the base. Otherwise you have to empty it by hand every time it runs. Bu

found a cheap roomba online is it worth it?
Definitely worth it. The i4+ will come with a self empty dock, and it supports mapping the house so you can have it clean specific rooms. Plus, there's so much less randomly bumping around, so it actually ensures it hits every inch of floor instead of hoping it does by turning randomly. Changing fro

It’s the r/Melbourne daily discussion thread [Saturday 26/04/2025]
We have an iRobot i3+. I'd be wary about getting any iRobot products as the company looks like it's going under. I would recommend any vacuum that empties itself. It's so easy to just turn it on when I take the dog for a walk in the morning and it just does its thing. We have one couch that it likes

With 4 dogs I need a good robot type vacuum (with or without the mop option). Anyone have one they love?
I now have two Roombas (iRobot brand): the i6+ and i3+ both secondhand purchased. They both work great. The i3+ is a little slower and tends to get stuck more frequently but they both get the job done and empty into a collection bin which is a must for all the dog hair they gather in a day. I don’t

How much does your corgi shed… be honest..
For robot vacuum? I don’t know a lot about different ones. I have an older Roomba the i3+. It does the job well. I guess my only suggestion would be to make sure it has self emptying; my mom gave me one before that didn’t and I had to empty it way to much

I'm a 'cat lady'. 55 year old single woman with no children AMA
I've had several versions of Roomba and my favorite is the i3+. That one runs upstairs. On my ground floor, I have a Roborock mop/vacuum that I adore. The mop is okay. It can't replace a manual mop but it's good for everyday until the weekend. But I have mostly hardwood floors and thin pile area rug

How NOT to teach your Bernese to behave while someone is sitting down 😂 🤣
I have a Roomba i3 with auto-empty dock - it manages the majority of the hair, and not gonna lie, I actually keep a small wet/dry shop vac in the house because it has a longer reaching tube extension that I use to get underneath shelves and couches. I also go around the perimeter of the house with t

Are Vacuum Robots Really Worth It or Just a Scam?
I have a 4-year-old iRobot Roomba i3 with the self-emptying bin and it has been one of my better purchases. Every few days it is a little bit dumb, getting stuck under chairs or on my ergonomic mat, and it's not terribly fast, but neither is it terribly slow. It runs for a couple of hours a day, spr
