Mullvad always has great latency and I can load web pages & download things very quickly with it, so why does speedtest(dot)net say it's slow?
Last I know speedtest site you mention is in partnership with a OLD NOT popular VPN called IPVanish so most likely they will tell you your VPN is slow..... but hey buy OUR VPN ..... it is a sales tactic to trick you just ignore it.

Threat Protection Pro is now live
I'm sorry but I just need VPN. Not having the option to not install threat protection is going to force me to unsubscribe from Ipvanish. My system slow enough.

A few travel questions about China and the great firewall
When I visited China around 6 years ago, a lot of the big-name VPN apps that you find on all the “best VPN apps to use in China” lists ended up being blocked or never worked right. I didn’t have any luck with Express, Nord, IPVanish, etc. One that I had occasional success with was a relatively unkno

Best VPN client for 2019 pro where they use the same VPN on their computer on the same LAN/WAN?
I used IPVanish bur their speed was too slow for large 4K Remux files. So I switched to Nord and haven't looked back! Speeds are way higher!

If your stream keeps buffering, check these things first.
Do ISP's throttle just for using a VPN? My speed (wired) was 915mbs down and 895mbps up. With IPVanish on (split tunneling set up, WireGuard protocol selected, closest server selected) I am getting 166 down and 261 up. An 82% drop seems a bit drastic..

Deal: 5-Year AdGuard VPN Subscription + Lifetime Ad Blocker Family Security Suite (9 Devices) - $28 on Stacksocial
The last time I tried to use it for Torrents, it did not work very well; that was three years ago. When I was doing torrents, I used IPVanish. I have stepped away from that scene. For a while I was watching movies with third-party apps and real-debried. But that seems to be a hot debate lately. I be

Every “best VPN” article feels fake now, so I checked what Reddit actually recommends in 2026
I'm a total novice but on a simple speed metric (as mainly use for streaming) no VPN 547 Mbps VPN through Netherlands Mullvad 490 Mbps IPVanish 308 Mbps Surfshark 192 Mbps Mullvad rock solid every time. Yes it's more expensive and I'd prefer a good 1 or 2 year deal but for me, sticking with Mullvad

Torbox buffering every 10 sec
VPN slowed it down even more for me (IPVanish).

Best VPN for adult sites
I tried all three of these about six months ago and honestly, my experience was mixed. NordVPN was fast but kept disconnecting randomly on my phone. IPVanish was stable but felt slower when streaming. PureVPN was the cheapest but their customer service took forever to respond when I had issues. Ende

IPVanish vpn review (weekly usage under my belt)
tried ipvanish last month and it disconnected during a important zoom call with my boss... she definitely saw my actual location popup.. the speeds were good when it worked but those random disconnects killed me
