Any news on the ace pro 3?
The biggest problem with it is... 60cm minimum focus distance. It's cooked. Which effectively rules it out for me as I can't film close up shots or do chest mounted fishing shots. Go Ultra question
The Purevideo lowlight mode is softer without question, considerably so... but thats mostly the case with all action cameras that have a low light mode in 2025 (Action 5 Pro, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, X5, Osmo 360 and GO Ultra). The camera cranks up the ISO to get the scene to stay bright and maintain a s

Is Ace Pro 3 even launching?
Fair point that DJI hasn't announced an Action 7 yet, but the Ace Pro 2 is already starting to feel dated against the current Action 6 and GoPro Mission 1. AcePro has the worst image quality in changing lighting conditions(think biking through a forest with shadows/highlights changing). Also the 4:3 sensor isn‘t as versatile when you want to crop to diff

Which one would you return if you had to pick?
i will return the ace pro 2 — i had a gopro once and had to upgrade to insta360 x3 then x5 because i wanted to capture literally everything including myself, i'm tired of being out of the photos and videos most of the time because of single lens from gopro, just like in ace pro 2. additionally, i ha

Is 8 Bits Enough?
It's not just the bits it's the sensor and processing. IMHO Insta360 kneecapped the Ace pro 2 by only having 8 bit. It's basically the same sensor as the DJI action 5 Pro, but I ended up returning the ACE pro 2 and going full action 5 out of the dozen+ action cameras I have. If you're going to be do
