New cloud 3 s, muffled sound

Whatever you do.. do not use the ngenuity beta app, it’s absolutely awful in its current iteration. The headset is pretty solid but held back by that app Check out info from this other post about it. A lot of good info https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_you_own_hyperx_cloud_iii_read_this_ng

spending too much time researching

The Hyper X Cloud 3 S is an excellent choice for competitive/story games. I have a lot of headphones and IEMs that I rotate through and these are pretty decent, I personally EQ them to emphasize footsteps as well. Also, for $140 you cant beat the price, for a good sound wireless headset. IEMs are gr

Cloud 3 S audio sucks?!

I heard the opposite. Cloud 2 being more bassy and Cloud 3 S being more the neutral "audiophile" frequency. If you haven't, recommend to firmware update via NGENUITY non-beta and set EQ there. Reset your audio settings from the Settings Menu as well. Give these a try from u/AESIRu that I daily drive

My experience with HyperX Cloud III S Wireless

Amazing, thanks for the additional testing on your part and the follow-up. I pulled a trigger on this headset like 2-3 hours ago so it's very reassuring to see your positive response regarding this "auto-sleep" issue. All of the posts I've seen were at least 2-3 months old so maybe HyperX managed to

Cloud III S Wireless sounds muddy vs G Pro X Wireless - any way to make it crisper?

I just got my first headset and was these Cloud III S Wireless. Had a similar problem 2 hours ago trying to get DTS to work and such. I used this thread to fix the issue and adjust settings. https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_you_own_hyperx_cloud_iii_read_this_ngenuity/ After I did firmware

My experience with HyperX Cloud III S Wireless

Have you experienced issues related to the headset switching to sleep mode when listening to quiet audio? I se that a lot of people reported having issue with that and not being able to disable this "auto-sleep feature" (e.g.: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1nike47/hyperx_cloud_3s_wireless_how

hyperx cloud 3s

I ditched Ngenuity entirely for APO Equalizer. Highly recommend!!! I hopped on AutoEQ (website) and started from one of their presets to make it easier. This thread got me going, and I was impressed with the improvements I got it of my Cloud 3s: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_yo

Cloud 3 S audio sucks?!

Check out this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_you_own_hyperx_cloud_iii_read_this_ngenuity I just got my 3S and was super disappointed as well. Ended up ditching Ngenuity, downloading APO Equalizer and experimenting with different suggested EQs suggested in that thread. The diffe

No DTS Available With Cloud III S Wireless

Select the real headphone "Speaker (2- HyperX Cloud III S Wireless)" with the brand and models name > open DTS unbound > activate > open ngenuity beta > spatial audio > enable 12D > disable 12D > Enjoy. Other devices are virtual thus DTS license ain't given to them, but the real device has DTS:X lic

Headset recommendations

Firstly, make sure to use the “Boost Quiet Sounds” feature in the PS5. It is much healthier and will allow you to listen at volumes that don’t damage your ears and allow you to hear everything. As for headsets: I would’ve said PC38X but it is an open back so it doesn’t work for you. These are not in
