Where do you all get your ffice chairs from?

I work in the office furniture industry, so we basically get our pick of ex sample or second hand chairs for working. Everyone in my office sit on Herman Miller chairs except me. I used to have a Humanscale freedom chair, but now I'm in a Diffrient World. I much prefer it for lumbar support and I li

Desk chairs

I recommend trying the Diffrient World chair by Humanscale. I got mine used for £175. Has great lumbar support for me and a fabric seat with no front lip so there is no numbness in my legs after sitting for a while. Way more comfy for me than the Aeron and the other £1000+ chairs I've tried.

aosom chair - good chair for spondylolisthesis

I recommend the Diffrient World chair from Humanscale. Nice lumbar support and waterfall edge reduces numbness in legs when sitting for a while. Got mine 2nd hand for £175 but they are quite expensive new.

Are the BTOD folks biased towards Steelcase?

Well...I "work" in the industry and actually know exactly how many chairs Steelcase sells...by model... ;). (as well as all Miller & Knoll chairs...Haworth, not so much...Humanscale, not so much but their percent market share is WAY up in seating compared to the major OEMs) You would be QUITE surpri

Office chairs for spondy

I've tried a few and for me the best chair is Humanscale Diffrient World (not a typo) Has the right lumbar support for me, and crucially has a loose fabric front edge so there's no pressure on the back of my thighs. Got two of them used for £175 each, which is cheaper than the Aeron (and more comfor

Found this chair on the side of the road today and I need an ID on it. I know it's a Raynor and that it was imported in 2008, but specifics I just can't seem to find. I wanna see if it's possible to get replacement parts still before I commit to cleaning it.

The World chair is, in my opinion, better, in the sense that the World chair was manufactured by Humanscale, which is a company that takes ergonomics seriously. It helps that the tri-panel backrest is often highly, highly rated by online reviewers in general ... The Raynor chair, on the other hand,

Office chair recs?

I personally rate the Humanscale Diffrient World chair. The fabric waterfall seat and the lumber support are perfect for me. Much more comfy than other chairs 4x the price in my opinion!

If you get thigh pain from your Aeron, buy this overpriced cushion.

I just did the same with my HumanScale world mesh chair as I had the same issue. Made a world of difference and I no longer contemplate buying a new chair. Only issue is it boosts me about 2 inches higher than normal, so the back support doesn’t hit as perfectly as it used to
