Setup advice for 5’5 woman?

i feel you on this. i ran into the same issue at 5'4" and it took forever to find stuff that fits. the Uplift V2 Commercial frame goes down to 22.6" which works way better. for chairs the Steelcase Leap V2 has a seat height down to 15.5". also check the Humanscale Diffrient World chair. the desk fra

Be patient and you will find one on sale for a quarter of the price!!!. I currently own 4 humanscale chairs, have o

Can I put a footrest ring on a non-stool Steelcase?

I get what you are saying, but I do disagree (not on the stretching but limiting the options). The world doesn’t end at Steelcase and HM, there are quite a few good chair companies that simply don’t market to residential users and only strictly commercial. Examples include but aren’t limited to: Hum

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?

Best piece of advice I have ever been given about this is "Spend your money where you spend your time" Best mattress money can buy is a 3rd of your life in comfort (assuming you are one of those people can are blessed with the 8 hour sleep capability) - assuming 2000+ pocket springs with a memory fo

I've tried all the heavy hitters. What now?

Humanscale? Not as heavy duty, but ergonomic comfort for smaller framed folks. (I love the World Diffrient if you are on a budget.)

Best possible chair for a cheap reasonable price?

Here’s the thing, a proper chair is the perfect example of “you get what you pay for.” Can you buy what you might consider a comfortable chair for $200? Sure…just grab whatever Chinese made crap they sell at OfficeMax, Staples, Costco, Sam’s Club…. But then be prepared to spend another $200 a year f

Herman Miller Chair.. what one?

It depends. Mesh chairs can be deceptively comfortable, but they're not comfortable for everyone especially an Aeron. I much prefer the Mirra 2 over an Aeron even though the Aeron is the more "advanced" chair. The Aeron punishes you if it's you didn't get the memo to buy one in the right size or you

Found this chair on the side of the road today and I need an ID on it. I know it's a Raynor and that it was imported in 2008, but specifics I just can't seem to find. I wanna see if it's possible to get replacement parts still before I commit to cleaning it.

The World chair is, in my opinion, better, in the sense that the World chair was manufactured by Humanscale, which is a company that takes ergonomics seriously. It helps that the tri-panel backrest is often highly, highly rated by online reviewers in general ... The Raynor chair, on the other hand,

Test Drove a Humanscale Recently ... and it was just ... okay

Did you look at the Humanscale World Diffrient? As a smaller framed woman, I have always loved the way the mesh seat version fits and cradles my legs. Alternatively, I often used a HON Ignition without the arms installed and that seemed to promote better posture when chained to a desk for prolonged
