32GB vs 64GB RAM for a work/gaming laptop I want to keep for 5+ years?
Easy, go for HP ZBook Studio G11 would make sense. I am using it and it is great. 64/96GB is good, they are not expensive at all, just upgrade it yourself. 64GB is $145, and 96GB costs about $200. Studio actually supports up to 128GB with newly released Micron SODIMM. But you do not need that much.

Apple has won the efficient productivity laptop race and I refuse to believe it
Apple M4 Macs are still the leading performer, just look at a M4 Pro on battery! it's beating a lot of windows (amd / intel latest) while plugged in..
