Apple Says 11-Inch MacBook Air and Two Other Macs Are Now Obsolete

8-10 years out of a laptop is still quite incredible. My HP spectre x360 had a screen failure within a year, warrantied, same screen failure within a year. Within 2 years it’s slow and sluggish.

Dell managed to acknowledge their error in abandoning XPS, with a comeback. When will HP do the same with the Spectre x360 line?

Even the last spectre x360 was disappointing to me. Bring back the gem-cut corners!

Yeah guys, HVAP is fine

Since you addressed me by name, a HP Spectre x360 aw13 convertible with a broken screen, no backplate, 3 cracked keys, several viruses, and propped up on 2 2x4s for "better airflow"

This is the MacBook Neo's competition btw 😭

Same bought my fist laptop (x360 spectre ) for college in 2017 with all the money I saved and not only was it so slow and loud fam , the touch screen was a gimmick I barley used . In 2 years the charger fried its motherboard and hp refused to do anything . All the tech reviewers were saying it’s goo

I'll never own another HP product in my life.

their consumer laptops ad printers are poorly designed Agreed, I got their top-of-the-line Spectre x360 and it was full of issues(especially when it comes to firmware since basic features like the CPU fan speed will get buggy). Upgraded to an Elitebook and it's so much smoother(but alas still has so

Laptop for school dilemma

I have an M3 MBA and an old HP spectre x360, which was kinda the premium version of the envy back when the line existed. Both are great. HP was far more user repairable after the battery went bad and the keyboard eventually gave in. MBA is newer so it’s not fair to compare further. I suggest trying

Lenovo ThinkPad Vs HP Elitebook

The only good ho I've had was the spectre x360. Took it everywhere with me and ended up giving to a cousin in Mexico years ago. Still uses it and hinges aren't broken. Can't speak on other models. I would still go thinkpad. Function over looks and function always looks more professional.

Got my school laptop fixed about a week ago because the hinge suddenly stuck and broke the screen despite no misuse. Guess what happened again today

At my job we fix about 6 of these a month, HP, Dell, and Lenovo. It's such a widespread issue. I've even fixed two of the exact same model in one month, that was HP. The issue is... The hinge is made out of metal, it screws into a top plate that is metal. Manufacturers are too cheap to actually weld
