yeah dude don't generalize on the brand of you got unlucky, ho works fine for me I recently bought and Hp omen 16 after years with other HP computers, I tried Asus and Lenovo and Hp is the one that I had the least amount of problems

Where to get a replacement charger
lost my charger once during finals week, worst timing ever. for the Omen 16 you need 200W or 230W with the 4.5mm barrel plug (hp part number TPN-DA11 or similar). best buy won't carry it but amazon has OEM replacement chargers that work fine. just avoid the super cheap $20 ones - they overheat fast.
