True. I got an hp omen 16 4060 last year as a gift and was very hesitant via reviews hinges etc. Then I saw how every brand has its issues. I have been lucky with mine and has just gotten better over time. I have received a couple hand me down laptops as well over time for linux work etc and I have

I’m an undergrad in packaging science and I really like my Lenovo thinkbook laptop. Before that I had an HP Omen 16 that was a powerhouse but the battery was terrible. Anything with a decent processor (8 cores should be plenty) and at least 4gb GPU that’s DirectX 11 compatible will be fine. That sai

Yup I'm on, 4060 is beast with 100fps in lastest games like stellar balde ( obviously coz of vram medium settings still graphics are enough to keep u play as it's using full 8gb vram). I will fix the hall sensor issue in next motherboard replacement & going to talk on few things with customer suppor

My man, people on this sub diss omen and always recommend buying Lenovo Legion for its reliability. In fact I am upgrading my last gen Omen 16 to a legion with the same spec as the above laptop (2081, open box on Best Buy), because of this sub. As for your question, apparently this particular model

Seems like the OLED displays and the inclusion of the 9955HX AMD chips are the big changes for the next year. Shame the most powerful AMD CPUs are not going to be paired with the best GPUs and cooling in the Max systems. HP used the 8940/45HX AMD chips in the regular Omen this year already but it's

You didn't include the prices in your post. But as someone with the HP Omen 16, though, it is an amazing machine when plugged in, but has horrible battery life when not. Don't expect to be able to take it anywhere without the power brick.

Yes HP as a company has simply downgraded the quality service they once used to give even when I had taken my laptop in Feb 2026 I faced lots of issues and I know had I been not in the legal field and known everything that they are doing which is malpractice against me and other customers they would

I don’t have the same model but I got my Omen 16 2-3 weeks ago with an RTX 5060 and Ryzen 9 8940HX, with 24 gigs of ram. It works like an absolute beast. When you get the laptop, first reinstall windows to get rid of all the omen bloatware. Then get OmenMon here. It’ll will have all the fan controls

I suggest avoiding HP Omen....it's a piece of shit. I bought an HP Omen 16 trackpad was bad after first month then 1 year later screen went out despite using external monitor and not main screen. (I'm not a gamer btw). Frequently locks up. It is appropriately named Omen because it is a bad omen for
