this character has already worn out one of my dpads and i only have 40 hours on the game
It was more from me practicing movement and playing Azula neutral than the combos. I was on the hori octa which is a membrane dpad and those are known for not lasting too long so I kinda expected it but now I’m on the Razer Wolverine which should last much longer

Is this controller great for street fighter 6?
This was basically THE go to 6 button pad for the ps4 era. Trouble is it doesn't work on the ps5 without an adapter. Hori has put a new version (Hori Octa ps5) that does work on ps5 but that's had very mixed reviews especially the dpad. All that to say it's great for PC, just a pain if you want to u

PS5 Padhacks
It's not worth padhacking modern controllers as they require expert level of soldering and knowledge, instead, I recommend Brook Gen-5 series of PCBs: Gen-5: PS5 native PCB Gen-5W: Wireless version with a battery. Gen-5X: Multi-console compatibility for modern consoles (PS5, Xbox XS & Switch/S2) Win

Which of these sticks is the best, or should I get a controller cause I’m more used to that?
If you want to stick to pad, I recommend buying a Brook Wingman FGC 2 (wired only) or the Wingman P5 (FGC 2 but with wireless compatibility with BT controllers) and a third party controller that's highly praised than a $200 FightStick, leverless or third party PS5 controller. The Hori Fighting Comma

Is this controller great for street fighter 6?
This pad is better than the Octa IMO - though it still wasn't great. My personal ranking for dpads: Hori FC (non Switch), Razer Raion (with pivot mod or second release), Betop C3, Hori FC4, Hori FC Switch, 8bitdo, PS4 Octa, Xbox Octa I'm not sure what Hori did between the original FC and the Switch

Best settings for this controller?
Use the Stick, the D-pad for the hori octa will destroy your hand even more if your character needs to use a DP motion, for the buttons idk.

Anyone who plays sf6 on gamepad, what gamepad would you recommend?
Hori Fightad for the Switch , I found that the newer Octa's D-pad has input problems. Original PS4 Octa isn't bad either.

In what ways is the Hori Octa pro better than the original?
I don't own the FC Octa Pro but it's essentially a more accessible version of the FC Octa: Swappable D-Pad: If you don't have an issue with the adjustable D-Pad sensitivity through the Hori Manager App then it's a plus with the other two D-pads have more defined + pattern. 2.4ghz wireless connection

Razer Raion upgrade?
Keep that one and try to repair it, the Raion is one of the best FightPads made due to it's more or less durable, comfy D-Pad and Legacy Support limited compatibility with PS5 fighting games (this is something only found in licensed PS4 arcade sticks...the Raion strangely gets detected as a arcade s
