AIO about air quality
Hey, I live in a studio apt sized space and like to cook meats on high heat. I have a Honeywell hepa air purifier hpa300 that on the higher fan speeds will absolutely suck all the smoke created in a matter of seconds. I can’t speak on its ability to reduce particles I don’t have a meter or anything

Taking my friends computer apat to try and fix....... this shit is nasty af. The whole computer is Like this....fml
Yep, that will do it Make him clean it or buy a replacement. I would recommend vacuum or compressed air, preferably outside. The dust bunnies from lint and smoke residue are prone to smear, stain, and stick. In the future... PC should be raised above floor, and optimally close to an air purifier. I

I Smoke Weed and I Kick My Cat Out of My Room When I Do, Is That Okay?
Honeywell makes some good air purifiers that are quiet and have a dimmer function for nighttime. A little more expensive, but reliable. I have an HPA200 and HPA 300 that have been running 24/7 for years.

What's the best air purifier for home you'll recommend buying now?
I've been running a Honeywell HPA300 for about 2 years now and it's honestly made a huge difference with dust in my bedroom. The thing's built like a tank and you can actually see the pre-filter getting nasty after a few weeks which shows it's doing its job. Only downside is it's a bit loud on the h

Has anyone tried this self made air purifier? They’re called Corsi Rosenthal box
Looks like enough money and trouble that I would just get a cheap hepa filter if it were me. I bought a Honeywell hpa300 iirc. It's ran perfectly for over ten years. Filters are cheap on Amazon. It saved my ass when the mold was at its worst. The last few years I haven't used filters much (my home d

Allergic to my son's adorable rescue parrots, Jerry and Eggie. Ideas needed!
I'm asthmatic AF, but not allergic to birds; I take a 24 hour allegra each day, and also have an inhaler. I've got a big ole chunky HEPA air filter/air purifier (mine's a Honeywell HPA300 that has 3 filters and then a pre-filter as well) and the amount of dust and dander it catches from my single co

Air purifier Request in the US
AVOID BLUEAIR. If your unit breaks they will not offer replacement parts(out of warranty) on discontinued models even if only a few years old. I bought a $900 unit and bought over$3k in filters and the fan went bad after a few years and they would not provide a fix. Only offered me a small discount

Should I call the health department
If you think that will help, then do it. It probably won't cause problems for you, but I think management might already be doing everything that's their legal responsibility. Outside looking in, I would expect them to be gone within about 3 months. That's how I would take "soon". I think you need to

Which air purifier is the quietest at level I (not sleep mode) for ~380 sqft family/home theater room?
You are describing exactly why I didn’t buy some of the more popular models often recommended. I just got 2 Honeywell HPA300’s. They are simple, process a lot of air, and the noise is very tolerable. I run 2 of them on medium setting in my apartment all the time along with an HPA100 and HPA200 (thos

Purifier for larger bedroom
Honeywell HPA300 Affordable and processes a lot of air. Noise level on medium setting is very bearable. Beware the smaller models are slightly more annoying in terms of noise in my experience.
