I Smoke Weed and I Kick My Cat Out of My Room When I Do, Is That Okay?

Honeywell makes some good air purifiers that are quiet and have a dimmer function for nighttime. A little more expensive, but reliable. I have an HPA200 and HPA 300 that have been running 24/7 for years.

What's the best air purifier for home you'll recommend buying now?

I've been running a Honeywell HPA300 for about 2 years now and it's honestly made a huge difference with dust in my bedroom. The thing's built like a tank and you can actually see the pre-filter getting nasty after a few weeks which shows it's doing its job. Only downside is it's a bit loud on the h

Air purifier for nursery?

I have 2 Honeywell HPA300 series purifiers in the house that I like! I keep them on low and the nose isn't very noticeable. On the higher settings it can be kinda noisy, but in a white noise way (I set it on high in the bedroom for the 4th to help reduce the sound of fireworks)

Air purifier Request in the US

AVOID BLUEAIR. If your unit breaks they will not offer replacement parts(out of warranty) on discontinued models even if only a few years old. I bought a $900 unit and bought over$3k in filters and the fan went bad after a few years and they would not provide a fix. Only offered me a small discount

Which air purifier is the quietest at level I (not sleep mode) for ~380 sqft family/home theater room?

You are describing exactly why I didn’t buy some of the more popular models often recommended. I just got 2 Honeywell HPA300’s. They are simple, process a lot of air, and the noise is very tolerable. I run 2 of them on medium setting in my apartment all the time along with an HPA100 and HPA200 (thos

Purifier for larger bedroom

Honeywell HPA300 Affordable and processes a lot of air. Noise level on medium setting is very bearable. Beware the smaller models are slightly more annoying in terms of noise in my experience.

Best overall: Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Mighty Probably the safest “default” choice. It’s been recommended for years because it just works — strong HEPA filtration, decent carbon layer, auto mode, and very solid reliability. Not fancy, but very balanced for most homes. Best budget pick: Levoit Core 30

Best Air Purifiers for Home Use? Recommendations Needed

Honeywell HPA300 is an absolute unit. Not the prettiest thing but it WORKS. We have severe dust allergies and two shedding dogs, and this thing keeps our living room air surprisingly clean. It's a bit loud on high but the lower settings are fine for background noise. Filters are reasonably priced to

Basement

Sadly air purifiers cannot help with radon and you will also need A LOT of plants to make a difference to your air - we wrote about it here https://housefresh.com/do-plants-clean-the-air/ If you still want an air purifier you can run in your basement and can help with particles and mild odors, then
