Taking my friends computer apat to try and fix....... this shit is nasty af. The whole computer is Like this....fml

Yep, that will do it Make him clean it or buy a replacement. I would recommend vacuum or compressed air, preferably outside. The dust bunnies from lint and smoke residue are prone to smear, stain, and stick. In the future... PC should be raised above floor, and optimally close to an air purifier. I

What's the best air purifier for home you'll recommend buying now?

I've been running a Honeywell HPA300 for about 2 years now and it's honestly made a huge difference with dust in my bedroom. The thing's built like a tank and you can actually see the pre-filter getting nasty after a few weeks which shows it's doing its job. Only downside is it's a bit loud on the h

Allergic to my son's adorable rescue parrots, Jerry and Eggie. Ideas needed!

I'm asthmatic AF, but not allergic to birds; I take a 24 hour allegra each day, and also have an inhaler. I've got a big ole chunky HEPA air filter/air purifier (mine's a Honeywell HPA300 that has 3 filters and then a pre-filter as well) and the amount of dust and dander it catches from my single co

Dust allergy and affordable air purifiers? What’s the verdict?

I've had two cheaper ones, like the IKEA one, and honestly, they didn't do much for my hayfever. I think for air purifiers you need to get a good quality one, which can be a bit more expensive. Some good ones that I've heard of: - Honeywell HPA300 - Levoit Core 600S

Best Air Purifiers for Home Use? Recommendations Needed

Honeywell HPA300 is an absolute unit. Not the prettiest thing but it WORKS. We have severe dust allergies and two shedding dogs, and this thing keeps our living room air surprisingly clean. It's a bit loud on high but the lower settings are fine for background noise. Filters are reasonably priced to

What's the best air purifier or brand to buy for home currently that has HEPA filters?

Honeywell makes good air purifiers. They're manually controlled, so not a smart device, but I have 4 of them in my home running 24/7 and they have been going for 6 years without any problems. I bought the HPA300 model. They need regular prefilter changes, and annual hepa filter changes. The replacem

Air purifiers that get rid of cat hair in the air

I use the Honeywell HPA 300. It is a bit pricy, but it does an amazing job on odors, and also a really good job on pet hair. One unit is not going to cover an entire house though. It is more like one unit per large room for pet hair issues.

Heading to my moms house to clean. It’s not the hoard…

Can you set up an air purifier? You'll probably only need one if you're going to be clearing and cleaning one room at a time. My air purifiers have a charcoal filter in addition to a strong HEPA filter. I have the Honeywell HPA300 (for XL rooms), HPA200 (for L rooms), and HPA160 (for med-lg room). I

Advice on choosing the best air purifier for allergies commonly loved right now? Do they really help?

Also check the clean air delivery rate (CADR). I used this site to search for what was good - https://ahamverifide.org/ahams-air-filtration-standards/ I went with a bunch of Honeywell HPA300 machines to cover multiple rooms several years ago and have been thrilled. They run 24/7 every day on low but
