MAXWELL 2 PADS ARE AVAILABLE TODAY! + A GIVEAWAY
Welp, didn't win but just ordered the StealthZ because they look to be a solid upgrade that may save me from returning my Maxwell 2. I'm also used to gaming on open back Sundaras so I like that the StealthZ appears to be a bit more "airy" from some descriptions I've seen.

Regret buying...
I mean I do like them, I just wish I loved them. My open back Sennheiser’s were my first love in that area, but, always wished they had a tad more bass extension, and while the Sundara does, it’s just a tad underwhelming still, even with a good headphone amp and EQ. I do love everything else though,

Which headphones to test FIRST
I would say try the Sennheiser HD560S or Hifiman Sundara. Both should give a good baseline for open-back headphones. Meze 99 Classics or FiiO FT 1 for closed-back.

Best beginner audiophile headset setup?
Knowing your budget would help. With a low budget, 80–90% should be spent on the headphones and the rest on the amp/DAC. I’d say that for under $300 USD, I would look at the FiiO FT1 for closed back headphones and HiFiMAN Sundara (for open back) or, if the budget allows, a refurbished deal on the Hi

HE400se ou Sundara Closed-Back?

HE400se ou Sundara Closed-Back?

Why can’t I get a crushing tone on my amp?
Not the person you replied to, but the Sennheiser HD600 or 560S, or Hifiman Sundara or Edition XS are very popular are well reviewed HiFi headphones that don't break the bank too bad. I've used/owned 3 of the 4 and they're all great, especially with some EQ bass boost, because open back headphones g

Sundara dac/amp question
My HiBy R4 drives the Sundara headphones just fine. For me, it is a great combination - I like the open headphones so when I. Am playing my flute along to some Irish folk music on the R4, I can hear myself playing. I am also finding these headphones are fantastic for listening to music so long as yo
