Unable to backup photos while in China
I use LetsVPN and have no issues using my Chinese sim card or the hotel's WiFi.Have you tried changing the VPN location? How do I fix this
I recently used one in iOS 6 (because I live in Cuba and everything here needs a VPN). I think a manual configuration of hide.me still worked (I don't know if they removed the protocol configuration that was available in iOS 6)
