Is a grinder upgrade more important than the machine?

Whats important for consistency and a good espresso: Machine: stable temperature Grinder: consistent grind (particle distribution and size) Other things: Same puck prep every time The problem: If your grinder doesn't have a consistent output and a good particle distribution then having a stable temp

Hibrew H10B or De’longhi Dedica [150€]

Spend a bit more (200E), and get the Hibrew h10A. It has a 58mm portafilter, and a steel lined thermoblock (water is not touching aluminum, basically). With good care, it's a great cheap little machine, that will last you a long time, and make great coffee.

Are there any great, cheap chinese espresso machines yet?

Hibrew H10A was $200 last Black Friday. Probably as good as it gets for the price. [edit] FWIW, I own the H10A and it was a great beginner espresso machine for me. I use it daily to make flat whites. It's not built for life, but I haven't had an issues after a year of daily use. It's also well revie

Picked up the Cipher Rift 64mm recently. Here are some early impressions.

i'm so torn between the cipher and the hibrew g5. g5 is a fantastic deal when i get it as a set with the h10a, but the cipher looks like a better grinder on paper..

My espresso setup and all previous gear I owned +comments.

I have it for one month. My only comment is that you need to invest some time in learning the app. I have no experience with similar machines like the Decent, so I cannot compare it with those. The chinese in the app and in some explanation videos definitely add a layer of confusion but in the end i

My coffee corner! 🌸⭐

Okay naman! I had this set up since last month at wala pa naman issues. Before this, nagstart ako sa Flair at sa KinGrinder for making espresso. Consistent yung grinds ng HiBrew G5 though may 'guide' sa dial, hindi siya ganun kaaccurate. For the HiBrew H10A, it's my first time using an espresso mach

Looking for espresso machine suggestions under ₹30k

HiBrew H10A / H10 Plus — The only true spec-fit in your budget and requirements. Budan Espresso Machine — safer beginner, slightly less capable. Gaggia Classic Evo Pro - Bit expensive than your budget, but it fits all your requirements.

What is a good entry level espresso machine?

The Chinese Hibrew machines are really disrupting the home espresso market. The Hibrew H10A is around 26k and I think it’s one of the best budget entry level machines you can get. There are many reviews on YouTube, check them out.

[$500-$800cdn] help with buying first true espresso machine

If you buy a good grinder, any cheap espresso machine will do well enough to produce a good cup. If you keep the (super)cheap grinder and buy a good espresso machine, you'll never get a good cup until you upgrade the grinder anyway. I made a sticky post with my budget machine options here: https://w
