Looking for a dimensionally accurate resin printer (sub-$1,000)

Updated my other reply for clarity, I thought I was in a thread concerning minatures for a sec. If you are selling and doing professional work and can afford a Form then its the best you can get that isnt industrial grade, but it's a costly ecosystem. Some higher grade resins, but their trays are ev

Elegoo Jupiter 2

Ah yes, becaue I like a printer that was hated on, i now "only" like Heygears - I mean lets ignore the fact that i tore the Reflex 2 apart and said it was terrible, Praised the Anycubic P1 Max, and the M7 Max before it. Yeah, we shouldn't talk about any of that becasue it would get in the way of you

Looking for a dimensionally accurate resin printer (sub-$1,000)

If you mean for miniatures and hobby sort of stuff, nope. If you mean for prosumer stuff then the Reflex 2 is amazing for less cost and might be worth checking into before spending as much as a Formlabs printers cost. Being stuck in the Formlabs ecosystem is not a cheap ride where with Heygears, you

Beginner getting into 3D printing – is a used Formlabs Form 2 for $200 worth it?

Nah form 2 is too old at this point. Form 3 isn’t the worst idea but it’s very slow compared to what’s out there today. Still great quality but slow. I have both consumer printers like Bambu and elegoo, as well as prosumer such as Heygears reflex 2. Unless you are printing things that actually requi

Heygear Turbo RS vs Reflex 2

The RS is not compatible with most Heygears engineering resins and is generally better tuned for miniatures and such. It's getting opened up to have resin profile tuning soon but it might take some tinkering to get the other resins tuned on it. It likely won't get any of the official Heygears engine

Looking for a powerhouse of a 3D Printer

At work time is money and Heygears machines save time. I fill the auto fill bottle with third party resin as well and it works great. Just know that if you plan to print engineering resins you need the Reflex or Reflex 2. The Reflex RS doesnt support a lot of engineering resins and is more designed

heygears + elegoo curing? (and which heygears to get?)

Because PAH10 for the Reflex RS or RS Turbo is the resin recommended (and the only one) that is used for molding as you can see in their website. https://store.heygears.com/es/products/ultraprint-molding-pah10-rigid-resin-black-high-temperature-resistancePAH270 is the counterpart for only the Reflex

Need advice: HeyGears Reflex RS vs GK3 Pro vs Saturn 3 Ultra — for printing garage kits

I don't have Reflex yet; I'm waiting for tomorrow's launch of the Reflex 2, so no first-hand knowledge here. But in terms of the Pulse Module, Greedy3D did a review of it, and it doesn't seem like a critical part. So I don't think that you should assume that it is an actual requirement to get very h

Need advice: HeyGears Reflex RS vs GK3 Pro vs Saturn 3 Ultra — for printing garage kits

Heygears Reflex RS Turbo. I have the turbo with the pulse module, just know that the pulse module is a compressor that essentially runs the entirety of the print so it's noisy. My printer is in another room so I dont hear it. Even without the pulse module, the ecosystem is just carefree and simple.
