Some better-sounding alternatives are: EarFun UBOOM XTribit Stormbox Blast (1st Gen.)W-King X20 or X20SHarman Kardon Go & Play 3 (smaller battery, no IP certification)JBL Boombox 3 or 4 I’m not sure which Bose speaker could be a good alternative to these.

are you now talking about a dongle so a receiver or an audio cable which is something completely different than a dongle try connecting a 3.5 jack aux audio cable for iphone on a bluetooth speaker that has an aux input because I have already done this on a harman kardon Go Play 3 and what I noticed
