Please don't buy the GOruck bags
I've been using goruck for months now. Usually I do 30 pounds but have gone up to 45 here and there. I started with a cheap frame ruck. It was alright. I know how to adjust weight in bags to make them comfortable. My father was army for 22 years and taught me how to. But the rucker 4.0 is virtually

Looking for good rucksack that can easily hold 80+lbs
I'd be shocked if GoRuck 4.0 can't hold 120 lbs.

Thinking of starting rucking with my new pup, Patagonia, Zeuz or GORUCK?
Don’t buy GoRuck plates and particularly do not pay for transatlantic shipping. Yes4All plates are cheap on Amazon Germany and if your cart is over 100€, you get free shipping. Just have to be careful with dimensions. The following assumes Rucker 4.0 with Yes4All plates: A 20lb plate will fit in the

Is there an actual competitor to Goruck?
GoRuck is great, but just wait for a sale, either a direct one or from a reseller. I have purchased a Rucker 4.0 and Ripstop Bullet Ruck directly and a GR1 from a reseller. If I absolutely had to look at other options, I would probably be looking at CTactical.

Bag question
I have a 25 liter GoRuck Rucker 4.0 and it is perfect for me. I’m not a GoRuck diehard or fanatic by any means. No hate or shame on any bag but here is why I like my bag. -I only use it for rucking and exercise. It has room for other things too which I use for a jump rope, a tension band specificall

Considering rucking
The last six months for me mirror yours very closely, I topped out at 285 in late January and needed to make some changes. Walked for the first 2.5 months, and hit the hour I could be away from home (we have a 10 month old and a 10 year old), also noticed that my average heart rate was dipping durin

Beginner Product Advice
Can’t go wrong with a GoRuck 20L Rucker. More versatile than a plate carrier for sure. Overbuilt but you’ll never need to replace it.

what ruck/weight vest do you use?
If you don’t plan to ever do anything other than the weighted carry for your dog walks, check out the Goruck Ruck Plate carrier. It can carry one short plate, so 20 or 30 lbs. Simple and minimalist. Get the yes4all ruck plate, should be half the cost of the goruck plates. The Rucker 4.0 is worth the

Frustration With Packing A Ruck bag
I have used a Rucker 4.0 for a couple of years and ordered a 5.0 25L to better fit my torso. At first, it seemed very uncomfortable with the larger lumbar pad and I returned it. But after a discussion with GoRuck Customer Service, they convinced me to give it another try and I got the 5.0 25L again
