The standard answer is a GORUCK Rucker with plates. Given that in 60 days you will be training with what they give you, I am not sure that it matters what you use right now. Not knowing your current fitness level, I am thinking the one thing you will gain in that time is strengthening your traps. If

I use a proper rucking pack. Weighted vests are generally not for breasted people especially if they have more although GoRuck has some that look decent. I bought a GoRuck Rucker 4.0 20L and am up to 30lbs in that. I also purchased an Evergoods Mountain Loader 22L that I carry a 20lb plate in. I'm p

I disagree that rucks like Goruck are just a marketing gimmick. It really depends on what you intend to do rucking. If you plan to follow the fitness rucking guidelines of 30% bodyweight or less in the pack, they will work great, with or without a hip belt. The plates ride high between the shoulders

It really depends on what you’re looking for. The spyruck is a great option for women, but the weight is fixed. A great option if all you want to do is add weight to your dog walks. They’re on sale right now, too. The basic rucker + free plate would be the next option, and the choice if you want to

Hey, I generally agree with everyone saying to just use whatever and see if you like rucking. It also can be motivating to have some new gear to work with. I have a Goruck Rucker, a Mystery Ranch 2DAP, and some military packs. I use the Goruck almost exclusively if I’m workout out. The 2DAP is great

If all you plan to do is plate carry rucking, and are wanting to One bag your travel, the GoRuck GR1 or GR2 are good choices. Yeah, expensive, but SCARS and durability are the additional benefits. If you’re planning to carry heavy loads (>30% of your bodyweight), the surplus 2DAP/3DAP or MOLLE assau

Unfortunately, anything built for your frame is going to be over your budget. Or it will have the same issues you have with the Amazon brand. You’re probably in the “buy once, cry once” zone of either sucking up the cost of a 25L Rucker 4.0 (or 5.0 if you want to wait a little longer) or buying a fr

In most settings, when going out for rucking I choose a dedicated ruck sack to save my backpacking gear. I have an osprey day pack (no belt) and osprey backpack 65 L (with padded hip belt), and a goruck 4.0 with plates. I don’t use the plates in small osprey because I don’t want to tear it an it doe

I ruck in the same shoes I would wear if I was running. Trail running shoes if off road or regular running shoes if pavement. For a pack, I started with a regular backpack, some dumbbells and towels to keep everything in place. Worked fine. Then I got a goruck Rucker 4.0 and have never regretted it
