That fact you used "legend" makes me think you're from the UK. That said, I recommend looking at YOMP. https://www.yomp.store/ They're cheaper than GoRuck and local to you, so you'll likely have better customer service if something goes wrong. I have their YOMP Y-CO 1, which basically is the goruck

Backpack is better for rucking/distance. Vest is good for calisthenics or people who need to train to move in vests (military, some law enforcement). I have a GoRuck Rucker 4.0 and a cheap Amazon plate carrier with 20 and 40 lb plate pairs. I find the vest really compresses my spine. Backpack helps
