I've been using goruck for months now. Usually I do 30 pounds but have gone up to 45 here and there. I started with a cheap frame ruck. It was alright. I know how to adjust weight in bags to make them comfortable. My father was army for 22 years and taught me how to. But the rucker 4.0 is virtually

If you don’t plan to ever do anything other than the weighted carry for your dog walks, check out the Goruck Ruck Plate carrier. It can carry one short plate, so 20 or 30 lbs. Simple and minimalist. Get the yes4all ruck plate, should be half the cost of the goruck plates. The Rucker 4.0 is worth the

I’m impressed that you tracked down a combination that fit, especially for a 30 Lbs plate. I consider the GoRuck Rucker pack to be a good deal even as expensive as it is because of how well it is put together, how well the padding works, how well they hold up to the abuse and their willingness to fi

I disagree that rucks like Goruck are just a marketing gimmick. It really depends on what you intend to do rucking. If you plan to follow the fitness rucking guidelines of 30% bodyweight or less in the pack, they will work great, with or without a hip belt. The plates ride high between the shoulders

Smaller ruck packs work better for me than 30l backpacks. Goruck Rucker is great.

I have quite a few backpacks at this point and my most rugged is my GoRuck Rucker. Not meant to be an EDC but it could be. I've been wearing it almost daily for the last year and a half with a good 20-30 lbs in it. The GR1 or GR2 would be better for your use imo.

It really depends on what you’re looking for. The spyruck is a great option for women, but the weight is fixed. A great option if all you want to do is add weight to your dog walks. They’re on sale right now, too. The basic rucker + free plate would be the next option, and the choice if you want to

check out this GR2 video. additionally, you can pair a GR2 with a set of compression straps and could be had for less than $10. they hook from the side MOLLE to the front webbing via G-hooks and cinch the bag down to keep a smaller profile; cheaper alternative to SCARS modding, and they’re currently

If all you plan to do is plate carry rucking, and are wanting to One bag your travel, the GoRuck GR1 or GR2 are good choices. Yeah, expensive, but SCARS and durability are the additional benefits. If you’re planning to carry heavy loads (>30% of your bodyweight), the surplus 2DAP/3DAP or MOLLE assau
