What are your expectations or predictions for the new HERO14 leak?
My prediction (and hope) is that GoPro will dominate the action-camera market again. You wouldn't know it from the onslaught of purchased media reviews and bots from their competition, but GoPro arguably offers the best video quality in daylight with Hero 13 and Max 2, and now they are shoring up th

What you think about this price?
DJI Osmo 360 vs. Insta360 X5 vs. GoPro MAX2 vs. Akaso 360 Insta360 X5 vs Akaso 360 Action Camera - Budget versus Expensive From these reviews, I think the image quality from Akaso is on par with GoPro Max 360 first generation, a very old 360 camera.

White copy of Osmo360, XTRA SPHRA 360 is soon releasing in USA
Good. I want DJI to find every way around this stupid ban. If they legitimately fail a security audit and do not find a way to become compliant within the allotted compliance window THEN you can ban them. This we think, or we are paid by your competitors to think, you are sending data to foreign mil

For those who use a POV camera...
IMO a 360 camera is the only option, like others have said. The 2 ones worth considering are the insta360 x5 and the GoPro Max 2. I got both to test out and see which I liked more. Here’s my experience as someone that comes from a professional video background: Insta360 X5 Pros Objectively better im

Action camera suggestions
GoPro Max 2 is also available as a 360 camera and it has the highest resolution of any 360 action camera. Trade off is the poor night time video. So, if I was scooting during the day? GoPro hands down. Night? Insta without a doubt.

Insta360 Ace 2 vs DJI 6 (PFA)
I’ve gone back and forth on these two for moto stuff, and honestly both are solid, just different priorities. For dirtbike/enduro riding, I’d probably go DJI Action 6. • Smaller/lighter like you mentioned, which actually matters more than you think on a helmet • Stabilization is super consistent whe

Best camera
My experience with action cams has mostly been with kite foiling, but I’ve done some winging too. I’ve found that having the widest field of view really helps get all the action in frame. 360 cameras can definitely do that, but they come with extra processing of footage compared to a regular action

Recreational Kayaking with Head Mounted Video
Well as far as action cameras are concerned GoPro is still arguably the best in terms of overall quality and having more available accessories than any other camera. Now that said, GoPro does have an overheating issue! I did some commercial sales stuff in the Bahamas in June and we had both a Hero 1

Insta360 X5 Bundle vs DJI Osmo 360 — genuinely confused, need real user input
If the insta360 didn’t have replaceable lenses the answer would be easily DJI osmo 360. The better color capture and better real low light capture along with the better ecosystem (mics) and d-log M give the slight edge to DJI. But as soon as one mentions “action” activities the replaceable lenses gi

Action Cam or 360 for Snorkeling?
Have a Hero11 Black. It works great. I've used a GoPro Max for action sports outside the water. I really love that camera, but I've heard it's not so good for underwater shooting.
