Do Not Buy the Nest Cam with Floodlight
Not to defend Google (I have plenty of similar complaints about them) but my nest cam with floodlight is working fine. Maybe you just have a faulty one, or maybe there's some back end issue with your account? Either way, sorry you're dealing with this.

Outdoor Camera with Google Home Live View Support?
I've got the Google Floodlight camera and have had no issues with it for a number of years. I've got the standard Nest Camera inside my house but it is technically an indoor/outdoor camera and again, no issues with it. Both also would obviously have no compatibility issues since they're Google produ

Kids trying to break into car and garage - Old Town West
Yeah, it's a Google nest floodlight cam. It's been pretty good We've actually been planning to upgrade soon and might end up with two cameras for more coverage

Looking for the best security camera for outdoors
Yeah I’ve had a pretty similar experience. I started with Ring and it was fine, but the coverage gaps and missed motion events got annoying pretty quick. The Google/Nest floodlight cams have honestly been the most consistent for me, especially for driveways and main entry points. The motion detectio

Looking to put a HomeKit camera on front of house in the place of a floodlight. What cameras wire in and don’t come with a plug?
Okay that makes sense. The google nest floodlight wired in so it was great but I want HomeKit video now, sick of nest. I guess I can wire in a plug myself it’s not that hard. Electricians in Ny here want like $800 to do the 10 min job

Why are people disconnecting or destroying their Ring cameras?
I have a google nest floodlight and never use it because I switched to a new router and in order to connect the camera to the new router I have to get a ladder and go up to the camera, take it down and scan the or code. Im not motivated enough to do that. So now its just a very pricey floodlight.

Trying to ditch nest cameras, but need the doorbell first
I made the same decision recenrly. Sold my two nest outdoor cams and a nest thermostat and purchased NVR Instant and G6 Entry. All up and running but not as simple as I would have liked. I miss the doorbell showing up on the nest hubs but, via home assistant and unifi integration, have kind of made

UP-Floodlight in 2026?
I'm with Google at my house because they have a proper 120V floodlight camera with battery backup built-in. And they really do work well. Have a UDM Beast with no cams on it at all as it's not worth having a couple of Unifi cams(which I have in the shelf) mixed in with my 8x Google flood cams. Reall
