adguard vpn is it worth it?
Their VPN app includes the excellent AdGuard Private DNS for free. They currently have a great deal if you buy AdGuard Family and AdGuard VPN. If you have already bought AdGuard Family, get the 5 year plan for AdGuard VPN (which also includes AdGuard Private DNS) and use code 'retail30' on checkout

Anyone secretly nomading with their company laptop? What happened?
It isn't that difficult to do if you use the right equipment. I highly recommend GL.iNet routers for doing it. This site does a walk through of it: https://thewirednomad.com/vpn I would use the Flint 2 at home and a Slate 7 or Beryl AX for the travel side. Make sure you setup goodcloud on the router

Seeking Suggestions - Cheap WiFi Router for Home Use?
Does your student dorm allow you to set up your own router using their network? That was not allowed when I was in college, and it's not worth having any issues with your university over WiFi speeds. If you place a router in your dorm room, you're going to have double NAT (bad for gaming) unless you

Travel routers security
Well, it kind of depends on where you got your router from. If it’s from GL.iNet, they’re a Hong Kong-based company. They typically have just one hardware version, but the ones sold in Asia or the China market come with firmware that follows local policie so things like VPN support might be restrict

Mevo slow local network speed
Hey there-I know we have spoken before. Firstly, What are your exact numbers through Speedtest? Or other? I asked you this once before, I believe, but do you have a router account for Speedify direct on your router, or are you just signed into the individual accounts on multiple devices? Because tho

Travel router on MSc cruise
Wow I didn't know that MSC would lock down their cruise ship network so securely. I'm happy that you guys are sharing this information because my family and I plan to cruise with them soon. I will say that I can't imagine how MSC is much more secured then Royal Caribbean cruise ships. I literally go

best travel router for frequent travel and hotel stay?
I use GL.iNET Slate 7 and Spitz AX, though the latter is what I usually use. There is usually a hit or miss with authentication, but the majority of hotels ive been using it at, ive had no issues at all. Just make sure the MAC address is static.

Beryl 7 vs slate 7. The best for travel router?
The answer is it depends on your use case. Based on what you wrote that it’s for hotel use / WiFi sharing - that alone would lean more towards the Slate 7 since it has the awesome LCD screen for WiFi QR code sharing and managing basic connectivity without having to login to the web-UI or use the app

Tech question: going to be in Thailand several months found an apartment to rent and they have internet included. There’s an Ethernet cord and wifi but I would prefer to use a private router that I can put a VPN on?
Any of their travel router range. Even the cheapest one has vpn installed but you will need membership with NordVPN or something then add the username and password in the router interface. I used two older gen model and my third one, I got the top spec, Slate 7. It was use hotel wifi or/and your iPh
