Recommendation for 65% keyboard

I rock a weikav Lucky65 and I love it. They sell the bare Bones kits pretty cheap on AliExpress. You can get some silent swishes and your choice of keycaps still be under $100 if you want to. Clean design, tri-mode connectivity, & VIA compatible

If you could gift a keyboard, which would it be, and why that one?

The best you can get for under 150 is the Evo80 from milktooth.com. they're selling select colors for $130, which is $50 off the regular price. The best you can get on Amazon is going to be the Wobkey Rainy75 or Crush80, the Weikav Lucky65 v3 or Nut65, or one of the AngryMiao or DryStudio keyboards.

Has anyone tried this board?

But off the image above. Just get the real Weikav Lucky65 v3 as this just looks like the pure clone of that iconic keyboard.

what parts do I buy and, what layout do i get?

Prebuilt keyboards are cheaper than a custom built one. The Impact80 is a great budget starter keyboard. If you want a fancier one, the Weikav Lucky65 v3, Wobkey Rainy75, or QwertyKeys Evo80 are all great. If you want a kit keyboard that you assemble yourself where keycaps and switches are purchased

New keyboard upgrade

Hall effect - Weikav EG75, Everglide SU75 Pro or IROK MG75 MAX. Whichever you think looks cool and has better after sales and availability in your region. All come with aluminium cases. They are pretty much the best in your budget in terms of build and performance. You can search about Hall effect k

What keyboard should I get?

Probably the Evo75 with Rye switches, but that's around $180. The Evo keyboards are probably the best out there right now, but it's cheaper to purchase a higher pitched keyboard and then get your own deep switches separately. The Bridge75 is under 100 and comes with rapid disassembly. Same thing wit

I need help as someone who is new to keyboards

OnePiece keycaps may be more expensive than your keyboard depending on which one you buy. For a budget keyboard, I recommend the Kisnt KN85 or KN104. For a fancier keyboard, check out the Wave75, Rainy75, Crush80 Beta, Weikav Lucky65 v3 or Nut65.
