People who have both or have seen oled and high end mini led. Is there much difference?

If it's mostly for gaming and you can relatively comfortably afford it, go OLED. (especially if it's a new tandem woled with 1500-ish nits max. brightness) I had a 27" 1440p matte miniled IPS (GP27Q) that died to a power outage, so I switched to a 32" 4K glossy OLED (3rd gen qd-oled, FO32U2) thanks

Am I crazy to get a 27" or 32" 4K monitor with a 9070XT, this system, and these games?

Man I feel you on both points. I have nearly 8,000 hours in battlefield 4, and I want to play newer games but I keep going back almost every night. I also got a fat bonus from work and I DID buy a 4K 240Hz OLED (gigabyte auros fo32u2) and holy smokes compared to my 4K VA panel right next to it, I di

What OLED monitors are most recommended on Reddit?

Reddit usually keeps circling around the same few for OLED picks. Here's what I've been seeing around: 1440p favorites- Alienware AW2725DF gets mentioned a ton for being one of the cleanest 1440p 360hz OLEDs ASUS PG27AQDM / XG27AQDMG still gets recommended a lot Gigabyte FO27Q3 has been popping up m

Went OLED and it’s a night and day difference

In my experience my old and now sold Neo G7 was albeit much more brighter than my new Gigabyte FO32U2, it was inferior to OLED in every possible way. I can safely say that i would never ever trade my OLED with another Neo.

I bought an OLED monitor for the first time, I have a question for you

It's definitely the FO32U2, I double-checked the box and specs lol. But creating a post on RTINGS is a good idea, thanks for the suggestion. I took those photos while the screen was at 95% gray. The photos look much worse than reality because my phone camera overexposes the screen and adds a weird t

How it felt to upgrade to mini led from ips?

Displaying black has nothing to do with the colour reproduction ability of the screen. It's about the ability to turn off the pixels to show actual, perfect blacks. OLEDs can do it the best, they can turn off individual pixels, resulting in perfect blacks. Edge-lit IPS and VA can't turn off their pix

Im not sure which oled monitor I should buy, can you guys help?

Cmon, of course 32" 4K monitors are great for single player and RPG stuff. Don't let the high Hz confuse you, they aren't "specifically made for FPS games" or anything like that. I use mine (FO32U2, qd-oled) mostly at 60 fps, and it's great. If the non-Samsung options were 27", it would be a differen

Tell me this is not the best monitor on the market for $500 and under.

you cant stand blooming and gray color instead of black yet you have a regular lcd display? how does that work. As I've mentioned in the post, I also own OLED displays. My gaming display is the FO32U2 4K 240Hz QD-OLED. Acer IPS is a secondary display.

1440p vs 4k oled help.

So, literally a week ago I bought my fo32u2. It's a 4k 32 inch OLED. First things first: 1440p IS blurry on a 4k panel. Text clarity is much better on a 4K panel and you should keep in mind that oleds are really susceptible to this. I was sceptical about going 4K too as I thought my 9070 non-xt woul
