Garmin Vivoactive5 or s50
I have the vivoactive 5, and use it for golfing. With all functions enabled: Yes you can download courses (I have used in UK and USA no problem) You can only connect/download when you are in close proximity to the course and you have the accompanying app open on your smartphone. It recognises you sw

Best Hiking Watch under £350
I have a garmin vivoactive 5 and it’s has great battery life, can run Komoot on watch, connects to HRM and can pretty much cover any activity. I had an Apple Watch, but during long hikes 4-5 hours + battery anxiety is a real thing, meanwhile with the garmin it uses about 5% per hour. It has other gr

Which watch would you recommend?
I have a Garmin Vivoactive 5 (still offered for sale but it's now a slightly older model). It is not cheap, but it is one of the cheaper Garmin options ($250 USD) and you can do pretty much everything you need for beginner/casual running. For C25k, I use it to program my run/walk intervals and colle

FR255 worth in 2026? Vs. VA6?
The forerunner 255 is the better choice. Has all the features you need plus more. Even if you don't get into running, it still offers more features that you are asking for than the vivoactive 6. I had a vivoactive 5 and switched to a forerunner 165. Was not disappointed. I dont care for training sta

I used to have a Garmin Fenix, but honestly once I scaled back my triathlon, I decided it was overkill. I recently got a Vivoactive 5 and I'm very happy with it! It works very well for running, strength, yoga, and spin class. The battery life is really good, I typically charge it once every 4 or 5 d

I’ve been using a Vivoactive 5 for the past 2 years. I resisted a smartwatch for so long but when I was training for my first half, I decided I needed something to track my runs and paces better. I like that it’s on the smaller side and has just enough functionality to give me the data I want. I’ve

Best smartwatch for health + fitness (long battery, all-in-one tracking?)
Check out Garmin! They have a fantastic battery life and there's a ton of different ones within different price ranges to choose from. I have the vivoactive 5, it tracks health stuff ( Hydration, sleep, heart rate, etc) and it has body battery, recovery time and sleep coach that have generally helpe

I oove my garmin watch because it's so validating
I only had this watch in my life so I can't say for sure, but it does help me a lot with pacing, I've seen people here recommending the Vivoactive 5 I think. Mine is the Forerunner 45 I've had it since 2023 and the battery still holds for an entire week.

My teammates have various Garmin watches and all seem to like theirs. I have a Garmin Vivoactive 5 and it’s great for rowing! The only thing I wish my watch had is an altimeter to measure precise elevation during hikes, but that’s totally irrelevant for rowing. Some of my teammates with Garmin watch
