Found a better way to pace with Garmin watch
Wow I didn't realize that the Vivoactive 5 doesn't vibrate upon hitting the heart rate threshold! I almost bought that watch but it was slightly above my price range, so I bought the Forerunner 165 instead. Mine does vibrate but I think the vibration only happens after a sustained 60 seconds above t

Thinking about pulling the trigger.
I switched from the Garmin Vivoactive 5 to the Amazfit Active 3 Premium. The only thing that’s a bit disappointing is the BioCharge and stress meter; Garmin’s Body Battery and stress tracking often matched how I actually felt much better, whereas Amazfit’s BioCharge feels a bit superficial at times.

What are your experiences with wearable health trackers?
I use both visible and Garmin vivoactive 5 on the daily. I like visible because of the pace points system. It gives me a snapshot of how much I've done in a day, rather than just a HR graph. I also like that it's waterproof and I can shower with it. The symptom tracker is nice as well. The Garmin ha

Art therapy to trigger PSNS
Sure! Im wearing a garmin vivoactive 5. The Garmin standard interface is pretty informative on its own but recently I installed a watchface called "Pacing Watch Face" by fitigued that is helpful for us sick people. It allows you to set a heart rate monitor to warn you when you've gone too far with a

Best smartwatch for health + fitness (long battery, all-in-one tracking?)
Check out Garmin! They have a fantastic battery life and there's a ton of different ones within different price ranges to choose from. I have the vivoactive 5, it tracks health stuff ( Hydration, sleep, heart rate, etc) and it has body battery, recovery time and sleep coach that have generally helpe

Helio strap
I use my Helio Strap as an external heart rate monitor (previously with my Garmin Vivoactive 5, and currently with my Active 3). I’m very satisfied with it, though I have never compared it to an ECG chest strap myself. You might want to check out the videos by The Quantified Scientist on YouTube. H

Active 3 premium.
Mine is in line with my Helio strap and my Vivoactive 5. It’s very accurate. Can't you just manually count your heart rate to check if your Active 3's measurement is correct? Instructions on how to do it: https://www.massgeneralbrigham.org/en/about/newsroom/articles/how-to-check-your-heart-rate

Is it worth buying an expensive watch to track HRV and sleep to manage decisions?
I have the Garmin vivoactive 5 and I find it useful to know when I've overdone it. I get alerts for high stress days and things like that so I know when I can expect PEM and sort of work around it. I don't monitor in the app so much anymore, I mostly use it to look at sleep quality now as I've had i
