Battery life rant

If you look at Garmin models that attempt to do the same thing an apple watch does, like their Venu X1, you will see the battery is not great either. That 2 week battery comes with a lot of stuff disabled. Maybe you need them, maybe you don't, your choice.

Suunto Race 2 So Far...Hmmm

That's where Garmin gets people. They offer a ton of features for the money. This is why I've gone back to them time and again. I actually had the FR970 but returned it after a couple of weeks. I felt the features were amazing but also the watch was buggy, I ended up hating that stupid green accent

Venu X1 or Instinct 3 solar

My I2 was / is a forgiving watch. It is a certain kind of peoce of mind and use when I don't have to babysit my watch. The screen on the I3 Solar is one of the sharpest / most readable screens of garmin. No touch, no sapphire, and new version of solar. IMHO the best combination. Venu X1 has a big be

Golf as paid app

Besides the Garmin golf watches, some others have it in their range, like the Fénix line or the Venu X1, all of them much more expensive. But also some Huawei Fit have it with a cheaper price. I understand the costs and the range segmentation. But I expected the TR3P to have it

Whoop vs Apple Watch + Bevel

I use a Venu X1, and Bevel is definitely worth it for me. Garmin's software just doesn't have the level of data interpretation that I wanted and get from Bevel.

Can I return it for inaccurate sleep tracking?

I sleep with three devices: fitbit air, garmin venu x1, and the gen 3. They don't ever fully agree but are close at times and other times not so close.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 vs Garmin

Except that Garmin is now attempting to compete with Apple and Android. If you look at the new releases like the Venu X1, Venu4, the Fenix 8 Pro, the batteries are getting fewer days than their predecessors. The VenuX1 is rated for 2 days with AOD, the Fenix8 pro MicroLed is rated for 4 days with AO

Impatiently awaiting the arrival of BioCharge on my T-Rex 3

Your probably right. If they add more compatible scales to the Zepp app and fitness age as well. They will sell a lot of watches. I like the look of the Garmin Venu x1 but would never pay £600 for a watch

Apple Watch Ultra to which Garmin watch

I’ve got an Edge bike computer but prefer the Apple Watch as an iPhone user. Garmin makes great watches but the way they cripple the feature sets to force you to higher end models makes me not care for them. Example: cycling power meters. You need a fairly expensive tier of Garmin watch to pair to c

Band alternative

I don’t think so. The slot is very small. For perspective, I have an Enduro 3, Instinct 3 (solar and amoled), Instinct 3 amoled, and a Venu X1 (I’m a Garmin nerd, but I’m selling all but the Enduro 3 to save up for the Fenix9/Enduro 4). The only watch slim enough to fit was the Venu X1, and it is pr
