The Love Affair is Ending

Garmin's sleep tracking is not nearly as good as Fitbit or Apple. Some garmins (with older sensors) have third tier accuracy on HR. The Garmin venu 3s has a newer sensor ,( the elevate 4 sensor iirc?)and it's HR accuracy is on par with Fitbit. Others complain that Garmin build quality on some models

A recent post got me thinking how important data is in making decisions about fitness and drinking

I treated myself to a Garmin Venu 3s last year and one surprising thing has been extremely eye opening. It ALWAYS knows when I drink. Even though I don't track my drinking in the app. Something about having more than two drinks in a night causes my body to have strong responses that it interprets as

👋 Welcome to r/LKS_Off_Topics - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

I have the Venu 3s! I’ve had mine since 2024 and it’s perfect still. Mr. Ambitious also has a Garmin and loves it! I like the data compilation a lot

Wearing smart watch for Bodycombat class?

I have been wearing a gamin for about 20 years and all while doing a ton of activities. Body pump, combat, marathons etc, never once had an issue. I have a venu 3s and I love this thing. You ask about accuracy and I used to wear a polar with a heart rate strap and while it is not that accurate, it i

Is there even a budget smart ring?

I currently wear a Garmin Venu 3s pretty much all the time but want to get a bit more insight into my sleep patterns. That is the only data I want that I feel my watch doesn't supply, everything else is pretty good on the watch

Can't really justify spending £200 on another wearable just for one da

First Amazfit - Active 2

Switching from my Mi Band 9 to the Amazfit Active 2 has been a huge upgrade in terms of accuracy and how the data is shown.

I’ve been eyeing the Garmin Venu 3S and Vivoactive 5 for a while now, but I just can’t justify the price knowing they’re still using older sensors.

Plus, for what the Amazfit

Devices: switching from Visible to … Garmin?

I used visible for a year, and by the end the only features I used were the HR alerts & symptom tracking . I didn't get much from the pace points, as they are fully based off HR, so mental exertion didn't take PPs (unless it also caused a high HR). I switched to using my garmin (venu 3s) and have no

Garmin watch

I also have a Venu 3s and find it great with the Pacing watch face. I also reacted to the it. I have very sensitive skin and generally react to anything which can be reacted to. 🙃 But I solved for this by Wearing it looser so it can sit in different places across the day. With the silicone strap, it

Garmin watch

I have the venu 3s because I like the smaller face. Plus it had newer sensors than the latest vivoactive at the time I purchased it. There isn't anything helpful for pacing on the Venu that isn't also available on the vivoactive, so either one of them will do the job. I do love my venu and if/when i

Hi over 60 ladies. I'm so sick of waking up in the middle of the night and lying here for hours, unable to get back to sleep., then feeling so tired all day .I've tried herbal remedies like Valerian, Magnesium, Melatonin , I'm exhausted every day 😴 Help please?

I haven't started regular exercise, but I have definitely found that eating after 6 and having my last meal be more protein and veggies rather than carbs makes a big difference. When I add in the sporadic exercise I do, it improves it even more. Another thing I've done is to get a minimum of 64 ounc
